Equipment Policies.

Pick Up & Drop Off

Earliest pick up time is 8am on your rental date.
Drop off your rental equipment between 9am - 12pm the day after your rental date.

Payment

A security deposit is required for all equipment rentals. The amount of the deposit depends upon the equipment being rented. Upon returning the equipment, your security deposit will be immediately returned and the total equipment rental cost will be paid after inspection. Please note that your security deposit release may take up to 10 days to appear on your account, depending on the bank.

Cancellations

The rental reservation may be cancelled at any time by providing written notice to info@avisualint.com. However, if the rental reservation is cancelled within 24 hours or less of the scheduled rental start date, the rental reservation will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee charged to the client's credit card.

No Shows

Equipment that is booked and confirmed, but not picked up is considered a No Show and we reserve the right to charge 50% of the contract value.  If you need to cancel, please call or email us ASAP to avoid No Show charges.

Privacy Statement & Use of Information

Client will be asked to provide valid government issued photo identification (ex. drivers license, passport, Ontario photo card etc.) which will need to match the information provided on the Equipment Rental Request form. We assure you that all of the information that we capture is held in a secure server and not released to the public. A Visual Interpretation (AVI) is the sole owner of the information we collect. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others.

Equipment Ownership

The equipment shall remain the property of A Visual Interpretation (AVI). The client shall return the equipment to A Visual Interpretation (AVI) in the same condition as when received, reasonable wear and tear excepted. A Visual Interpretation (AVI) shall be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all equipment. The client shall immediately return any equipment requiring repairs or for alternative equipment to be provided.

Equipment Responsibility

The client shall be solely responsible for any loss, damage, destruction, or theft of the equipment until it is returned to A Visual Interpretation (AVI). If the equipment is lost, damaged, destroyed, or stolen while this agreement is in effect, the client shall advise A Visual Interpretation (AVI) immediately and shall pay the fair market value of the equipment. The client is responsible for notifying AVI on or before the due date to extend the rental period. A Visual Interpretation (AVI) may automatically charge the client's credit card on the due date if no communication attempts have been made by the client.

Liability Waiver

The client acknowledges that neither A Visual Interpretation (AVI) nor any of its officers, directors, employees, or related affiliated companies shall be responsible for any personal injuries, death, damages, losses, or expenses incurred by the client or any other person resulting from or in any way related to the rental of the equipment or the use and operation of the equipment. The client hereby waives any and all claims they may have against such parties resulting from this agreement.

Late Fees

If we do not receive payment from you on the payment date, then a late fee of 2% will be charged with the outstanding amount per each day payment is not received.

Termination

This agreement may be terminated by A Visual Interpretation (AVI) without notice if at any time the client fails to pay the rental payment within 10 days of the due date of such payment. Upon such termination, the client shall forthwith return the equipment to A Visual Interpretation (AVI), failing which A Visual Interpretation (AVI) may take all steps necessary to repossess the equipment.
